The Meaning of Under the Rose
Derived from the New Latin phrase Sub Rosa, Under the Rose implies secrecy, confidentiality, and privacy. It’s all about sharing secret messages with those you love, trust and respect.
Introducing our Signature Logo Collection
At Under the Rose, we are constantly looking for new ideas and jewellery making techniques when it comes to expanding our exclusive handmade jewellery collection, but when we decided to work on our signature collection, we went back to basics.
The design of the Signature Logo Collection takes its inspiration from our very own logo, which was hand sketched by Tracy, the founder of Under the Rose, at the beginning of our journey. Intricate and beautifully detailed, the logo is made up to tiny little roses which have been shaped to form a Mandala, a symbol of infinity.
In keeping with our brand name, we decided to incorporate ‘secrets’ into this enchanting collection, offering personalisation across the range. Each piece is unique and beautiful, just like the woman who wears it.
The Design Process
When working on the Signature Logo Collection, Tracy started out by sketching each piece. She wanted to create a range of jewellery that was both eye-catching and organic. Everyday pieces that can be treasured for years to come.
The mandala inspired Under The Rose Logo gives this range a slightly oriental feel. A mandala is In Hinduism and Buddhism is believed to represent the universe and transmit positive energies to those around them. Symbolically, it is thought to denote balance, unity and harmony. By incorporating miniature roses into the Under The Rose logo design, Tracy was able to create something elegant, feminine and timeless.
With the artwork completed, Tracy went on to create the first piece in the range, a Round Logo Charm Necklace, engraved on both sides to representing the full circle of Under the Rose. Delighted with the end result, she made a necklace for herself in gold and engraved it with her children’s names. A piece she wears daily.

The Collection
The Under the Rose Signature Logo Collection has grown to include midi hoop earrings, maxi hoop earrings, and a unique range of stacking rings that can be personalised with the engraving of your choice. Items in the range are offered in sterling silver, yellow gold, and rose gold to complement every jewellery collection, and they come beautifully presented in our signature gift boxes. But we’re not done yet…

We are currently developing a new charm for the Signature Logo Collection that will be used to create a
modern yet minimalistic necklace and a gorgeous anklet that will add the finishing touch to any boho chic ensemble. Featuring a selection of tiny handcrafted beads, these new charms are objects of natural beauty, and we cannot wait to see the finished products.
